The Geisha variety was originally traced back to Ethiopia, but it found one of its most celebrated expressions in Panama’s highlands. In regions like Boquete, Volcán, and surrounding mountain areas, the combination of cool climate, volcanic soil, altitude, and careful processing helped Panama Geisha become one of the most recognized coffees in the world.
This coffee is our version of that classic profile. It is not meant to be heavy or overly roasted; it is meant to show clarity, elegance, and balance. The cup is delicate and aromatic, with soft fruit, floral sweetness, and a clean finish that makes Geisha such an important reference in specialty coffee.
For Unido, this coffee also has a deeper meaning. It took us 10 years of building relationships and trust to be able to buy this coffee directly from Ngäbe-Buglé Indigenous producers, whose land, knowledge, and work are essential to Panama’s coffee culture.
